Job Description

An opportunity has opened in our Drayton Valley office to work as a Trainer. This position will report to the Processes and Training Manager.  If you are a motivated and success orientated individual who wants to make a positive contribution to the business, please apply by e-mail to [email protected]


Duties include but are not limited to:

  •  Working to provide training, guidance, and documentation on components of IEC’s new ERP to all  levels of the company.
  •  Working to develop training programs and material that ensure all staff working with IEC’s new ERP  are functioning effectively in their positions.
  •  Prepare training plans and materials, including a follow up plan
  •  Deliver training based on plans
  •  Deliver training via various means – instructor lead training, development of computer-based    training modules, “How To” guides
  •  Remain up-to-date of all new features and developments in new and future versions of ERP



  •  Strong communication skill set (written and verbal)
  •  Strong ability to coaching, critique, mentor, and teaching
  •  Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  •  Ability to motivate people to want to learn
  •  Professionalism
  •  Good Organizational Skills


  •  1 to 2+ years of training experience
  •  Experience using digital training tools and methodologies
  •  Proficiency in using electronic tools such as MS Office suite
  •  Team oriented and flexible in regards to duties and working hours
  •  Positive attitude, motivated and willing to learn
