In this office position, you will be responsible for survey computations and plan preparation for oilfield and cadastral surveys. If you consider yourself a problem solver with an aptitude for mathematics and land surveying, this role will keep you challenged and draw on those strengths. The job requires more than analytical effort. You will receive raw data straight from the field, process it, and act as the go-between linking the drafting department with Land Surveyors and Project Managers. Clients will count on you to perform in the center of the action.
A combination of general survey experience and post-secondary training in geomatics is preferred; An understanding of numerous computer programs; Proficiency in survey software including MicroSurvey and Trimble Business Centre; and Field experience as well as previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
