POSITION SUMMARY


Parkland Fuel Corporation is Canada's largest independent marketer and distributor of petroleum products, managing a nationwide network of sales channels. We are Canada's local fuel company, delivering gasoline, diesel fuel, lubricants, heating oil and other products to businesses, consumers and wholesale customers through community based operators who care

Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for various administrative tasks including printing pick/packing slips, and sorting pick slips for picking orders and posting. They will assist dispatch and work closely with warehouse personnel. They will also monitor package lube inventories and analyze reports from JDE, order inventory, perform reconciliation, and ensure compliance with inventory balancing policy. This position will receive and transfer package inventory in JDE, collect and validate information at month-end, coordinate shipping of package products with our freight company, validate all package freight invoices for accuracy, and submit invoices for approval to the appropriate authority. It will be an important aspect of this role to maintain an up-to-date understanding of internal control procedures as they relate to package/bulk oil inventory, and the inventory modules in JDE. Shifts of work are Monday to Friday with some weekends and occasional on-call shifts.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • JDE experience is an asset
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • A critical thinker who can add value in fast-paced, fast-growing organization
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook and Excel are an asset
  • Must be able to lift lubricant products on occasional basis
  • Forklift training is an asset, but not required, willing to train the right candidate
