Job Description
An opportunity has opened in our Drayton Valley office for a Crystal Reports Developer/Analyst. If you are a motivated and success orientated individual who wants to make a positive contribution to the business, please apply by e-mail to [email protected].
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Financial Controller, the candidate will lead and manage reporting for the company ERP to support the business.
- Work in an organized, disciplined, analytical, and focused manner with good interpersonal and communications skills to deliver quality reports and analytics to business stakeholders.
- Working with business and system stakeholders to ensure that reporting requirements are clearly understood, documented and approved
- Estimating time and work effort to complete development
- Design and develop high quality, comprehensive custom reports
- Test, rollout and support all reports
- Conduct analysis’ to support business activities and decisions
- Liaising with other team members, acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) as required
- Schedule report runs and/or run ad hoc reports as required by business
Skills:
- Experience with general ERP systems
- Experience with ViewPoint CS v6 would be an asset
- Advanced knowledge creating custom reports
- Knowledge and experience with Crystal Reports, SSRS, Cubes and other reporting tools/technologies
- Experience integrating enterprise level applications
- Database experience with MS SQL
- SQL and Excel scripting including writing and using stored procedures with custom reports;
- Custom financial analytics and executive dashboard reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead requirements gathering sessions and work with all levels of the business
- Must be able to read and comprehend the database model and analyze the database objects
Qualifications
- College or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration
- 5+ years reporting, analytics and systems experience
- Construction knowledge considered an asset; Project Management, Service Management, Work Orders, etc.
- Team oriented and flexible in regards to duties and working hours
- Positive attitude, motivated and willing to learn
